Phrenological character of Mr. Samuel P. Leeds, August 19th, 1864 / given at Fowlers and Wells' Phrenological Cabinet, 231 Arch Street, Philadelphia, by Nelson Sizer, Professor of Phrenology.

A manuscript case report for a phrenological reading of the character and mental development of Samuel P. Leeds. It begins, "You have naturally a pretty good constitution." After discussing diet and phrenological characteristics, it concludes: "You would make a good locksmith, a good plummer, a good copper-smith of black-smith, but I think a machinist you should be above all things else." Verso of final two leaves and inner lower wrapper are covered by penmanship samples, perhaps by the subject of the report. Illustrated printed tan wrappers; unbound, metal clasp at top is wanting. Lower wrapper is blank.
